SV Waldhof Mannheim 07's Marian Hensel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marc Wiesler in the 3rd minute of play. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind SV Waldhof Mannheim 07's goalkeeper Marian Hensel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. FC Nenndorf's Georg Weidler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save FC Nenndorf from getting a goal against them. Georg Weidler made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Toralf Sandkühler sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of SV Waldhof Mannheim 07 booed when FC Nenndorf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerd-Peter Aeuer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Marc Wiesler managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Nenndorf's supporters rose to their feet, but Marc Wiesler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marian Hensel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Georg Weidler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Viapiano in the 28th minute of the match. Marian Hensel came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Nenndorf's Marc Wiesler. But to his dismay, Marc Wiesler quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 36 minutes into the match, Friedl Störmer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marian Hensel. SV Waldhof Mannheim 07's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Friedl Störmer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marc Wiesler in the 40th minute of play forced SV Waldhof Mannheim 07's goalkeeper Marian Hensel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Friedl Störmer took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marian Hensel. Marian Hensel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. A collision led to FC Nenndorf getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Florian Schubert hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Friedl Störmer made a kick off. A collision led to SV Waldhof Mannheim 07 getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Ralf Zeidler hit a great ball. Friedl Störmer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Marian Hensel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Toralf Sandkühler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marc Wiesler let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 71st minute shot 0-4 at rihgt post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Toralf Sandkühler in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Georg Weidler saved FC Nenndorf from getting behind. Florian Schubert charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Florian Schubert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Florian Schubert kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Toralf Sandkühler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Georg Weidler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When FC Nenndorf's Friedl Störmer in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Friedl Störmer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rudolf Finkenzeller during the 95th minute. Rudolf Finkenzeller didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erich Heinold's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Georg Weidler read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. The SV Waldhof Mannheim 07 supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Nenndorf's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Nenndorf.
