Noah von Hofe's late challenge caught a FSV Thale 22's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Noah von Hofe helped the player get up and apologised. After 22 played minutes Geraer Füchse e.V.97 got a freekick which was hit by Noah von Hofe. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Gottlieb Brendel took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Yannick Alzen to make any attempt to save it. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Walter Werner managed to get in a good position for a shot. FSV Thale 22's supporters rose to their feet, but Walter Werner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arne Garden breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Niklas Pleve's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arne Garden read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Walter Werner cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Arne Garden was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mattes Dahlmann hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the match, Walter Werner notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Geraer Füchse e.V.97's Arne Garden. Arne Garden was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 48 minutes into the match, Noah von Hofe dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Yannick Alzen, 2-2.

Yannick Alzen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. 61 minutes into the game, Holger Fritsch was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Geraer Füchse e.V.97's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FSV Thale 22 the free kick. After 61 played minutes Geraer Füchse e.V.97 got a freekick which was hit by Holger Fritsch. Arne Garden stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Walter Werner's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Eberhard Kaack fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yannick Alzen having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FSV Thale 22's Mattes Dahlmann got a free kick in the 67th minute. Arne Garden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walter Werner, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. If Walter Werner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Niklas Pleve got free with Arne Garden in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Geraer Füchse e.V.97's Arne Garden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walter Werner in the 86th minute of play. The supporters of FSV Thale 22 booed when Geraer Füchse e.V.97 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Konstantin Rausch didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arne Garden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walter Werner in the 91st minute of the match. After 91 minutes of play, FSV Thale 22's Walter Werner made it 3-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arne Garden was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Geraer Füchse e.V.97 getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Gottlieb Brendel hit a great ball. When the final whistle sounded FSV Thale 22 left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Geraer Füchse e.V.97.
