One of Turul FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Nenndorf:s goal. If Zvonimir Wienands had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 13 minutes into the match, FC Nenndorf's goal looked a bit too open when Zvonimir Wienands came free, but Georg Weidler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Steffen Pradt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Volker Laudan in the 16th minute of play. When FC Nenndorf's Friedl Störmer in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Turul FC's goalie prevented a goal. Zvonimir Wienands fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Georg Weidler having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Turul FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Marc Wiesler fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. FC Nenndorf's Friedl Störmer got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Turul FC's zone, Friedl Störmer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Steffen Pradt came out of the goal and Friedl Störmer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Friedl Störmer kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Steffen Pradt. That made the score 2-0 in the 37 minute of play. In the 41st minute, Opus Dümpe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Friedl Störmer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Opus Dümpe kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Georg Weidler made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Haiko Pohl sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Turul FC's zone, Marc Wiesler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Steffen Pradt came out of the goal and Marc Wiesler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marc Wiesler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steffen Pradt having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Ehrhard Hattenbach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute, Friedl Störmer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Friedl Störmer in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Steffen Pradt saved Turul FC from getting behind. 69 minutes into the match, Haiko Pohl had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Georg Weidler. FC Nenndorf's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Haiko Pohl was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Turul FC's goalkeeper Steffen Pradt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Turul FC's Anselm Jakob got a free kick in the 80th minute. Gerd-Peter Aeuer was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 81st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Steffen Pradt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Friedl Störmer, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. If Haiko Pohl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 94 minutes, Marc Wiesler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Nenndorf's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marc Wiesler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 95 minutes into the match, Turul FC's goal looked a bit too open when Friedl Störmer came free, but Steffen Pradt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Turul FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Nenndorf.
