Haiko Pohl might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marian Hensel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Haiko Pohl ran back to his position shaking his head. 7 minutes into the match, SV Waldhof Mannheim 07's goal looked a bit too open when Zvonimir Wienands came free, but Marian Hensel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 10th minute by Kristian von Ossietzky got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Marian Hensel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haiko Pohl in the 14th minute of the match. After 16 minutes, Zvonimir Wienands made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. SV Waldhof Mannheim 07's Marian Hensel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Toralf Sandkühler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steffen Pradt having to interfere. Steffen Pradt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Viapiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SV Waldhof Mannheim 07! The referee gave Turul FC a penalty, 29 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Wenzel Naujoks, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SV Waldhof Mannheim 07's Marian Hensel. 0-2. After some careless play in the SV Waldhof Mannheim 07 defense, Zvonimir Wienands kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marian Hensel. The SV Waldhof Mannheim 07 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marian Hensel should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Turul FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Anselm Jakob hit a great ball. Marian Hensel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zvonimir Wienands in the 40th minute of play. Jan Viapiano might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Steffen Pradt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jan Viapiano ran back to his position shaking his head. Philipp Brinkmann kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as SV Waldhof Mannheim 07's Jan Viapiano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Steffen Pradt. That made the score 1-3 after 49 minutes of play. The SV Waldhof Mannheim 07 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Turul FC were winning 1-3.

Anselm Jakob was extremely unlucky when he, in the 57th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 59th minute, Philipp Brinkmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Toralf Sandkühler struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Steffen Pradt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SV Waldhof Mannheim 07. Haiko Pohl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Zvonimir Wienands came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Turul FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zvonimir Wienands couldn't finish the play. In the 76th minute, Zvonimir Wienands got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Oliver Konerding kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toralf Sandkühler in the 79th minute of play forced Turul FC's goalkeeper Steffen Pradt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Steffen Pradt came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by SV Waldhof Mannheim 07's Jan Viapiano. But to his dismay, Jan Viapiano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. SV Waldhof Mannheim 07's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Zvonimir Wienands scored to the left of an out of position Marian Hensel, making the score, 2-4. After 92 played minutes SV Waldhof Mannheim 07 got a freekick which was hit by Kristian von Ossietzky. When Jan Viapiano came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the SV Waldhof Mannheim 07 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan Viapiano couldn't finish the play. Turul FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
