Dynamo Wedding's supporters rose to their feet, but Björn Wurm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Spike Gruteser breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jürgen Röbe charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jürgen Röbe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The goalkeeper, Spike Gruteser, was totally fooled by Dynamo Wedding's Björn Wurm, who 8 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Tim Elsenbusch hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Arnum Strikers's zone, Rolf Daumann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Spike Gruteser came out of the goal and Rolf Daumann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rolf Daumann kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Dynamo Wedding's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Björn Wurm in the 27th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Dynamo Wedding's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Elsner came free, but Leon Bretschneider reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Axel Elsner's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leon Bretschneider was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. In the 32nd minute Axel Elsner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Bretschneider saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute, Maxim Dutzi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dynamo Wedding fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Björn Wurm's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Spike Gruteser read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Rüdiger Hännig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Spike Gruteser having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Dynamo Wedding's Björn Wurm got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maxim Dutzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Spike Gruteser having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Björn Wurm's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Spike Gruteser was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. 78 minutes into the match, Maxim Dutzi notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Arnum Strikers's Spike Gruteser. Spike Gruteser was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 84 minutes into the match, Dynamo Wedding's Philipp Wülfing sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Spike Gruteser narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Björn Wurm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Björn Wurm struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Spike Gruteser didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dynamo Wedding. Maxim Dutzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Spike Gruteser having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Arnum Strikers's Axel Elsner slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leon Bretschneider. That made the score 4-1 after 97 minutes of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Dynamo Wedding had played much better football throughout.
