Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benjamin Schirrmacher in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Spike Gruteser didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Peter Vohwinkel went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 47th minute, Peter Vohwinkel made a precise shot to the right of Spike Gruteser. Arnum Strikers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The wind increased when Peter Vohwinkel made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Nöbdenitz's Evert Herkner got a free kick in the 56th minute. Arnum Strikers's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Nöbdenitz played a much better game than Arnum Strikers and deserved their victory. The Arnum Strikers players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
