The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hilbert Raubach was the one to do the kick off. 66 minutes into the match, Harvard University's goal looked a bit too open when Laurence Gotthelf came free, but Simon Peitsch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Simon Peitsch didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Gaugrehweiler's Laurence Gotthelf shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Simon Peitsch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frederik Strobl, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. But to his dismay, Laurence Gotthelf quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 89th minute Laurence Gotthelf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Peitsch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Harvard University defense, Laurence Gotthelf kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Simon Peitsch. The Harvard University fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Simon Peitsch should have stopped the shot. Gaugrehweiler walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
