In the 19th minute, Björn Wurm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Harvard University's zone, Maxim Dutzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simon Peitsch came out of the goal and Maxim Dutzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 26 minutes of play, Dynamo Wedding's Björn Wurm made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Simon Peitsch was left in no man's land by his defense there! Simon Peitsch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Björn Wurm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Harvard University's Gerald Borchmann shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 37th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Leon Bretschneider but with some difficulty. Hilbert Raubach in the 39thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Leon Bretschneider, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 41 minutes into the game, Dynamo Wedding's Rüdiger Hännig nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Simon Peitsch made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. A collision led to Harvard University getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Yves Waldner hit a great ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cees Ernemann to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Cees Ernemann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Bretschneider saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Dynamo Wedding's goal looked a bit too open when Gerald Borchmann came free, but Leon Bretschneider reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leon Bretschneider showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hilbert Raubach in the 58th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Hilbert Raubach ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leon Bretschneider was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Maxim Dutzi hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Maxim Dutzi kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. The supporters of Harvard University booed when Dynamo Wedding was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maxim Dutzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Philipp Wülfing took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Simon Peitsch. Simon Peitsch dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Dynamo Wedding were furious when Marcello Weippert was red carded, 81 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 81st minute, one of Dynamo Wedding:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Dynamo Wedding. Leon Bretschneider had in the 84thth minute some difficulties stopping Gerald Borchmann's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The excitement rose when Harvard University's Gerald Borchmann after 84 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Dynamo Wedding's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 2-4. The supporters of Dynamo Wedding booed when Harvard University was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herbert Rasp didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute, Maxim Dutzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Rolf Daumann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 98 minutes, Maxim Dutzi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dynamo Wedding's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maxim Dutzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 99th minute, Maxim Dutzi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dynamo Wedding's supporters rose to their feet, but Maxim Dutzi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simon Peitsch breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
