Jim Hein came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Nöbdenitz's Benjamin Schirrmacher. But to his dismay, Benjamin Schirrmacher quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Jim Hein took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Vohwinkel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benjamin Schirrmacher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jim Hein having to interfere. Peter Vohwinkel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dustin Toll struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Adam Böckels didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Tayphoon Köln. Jim Hein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Schirrmacher, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The supporters of Nöbdenitz booed when FC Tayphoon Köln was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesse Pautsch didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Peter Vohwinkel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jim Hein was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zlatan Knebel to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the game, Ole Naab was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Tayphoon Köln's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nöbdenitz the free kick.
