When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gottfried Kunger made a kick off. In the 54th minute of the match Reiner Krahnen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kristian Willem Tauscher skillfully saved the ball. After 83 played minutes Teufelsbande Windsbach got a freekick which was hit by Dennis Riehm. Norbert Dorn received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kristian Willem Tauscher came out and tried to block the shot, but Norbert Dorn slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 86th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Mike Biesenkamp notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Elberfelder FC's Jeff Westerwelle. Jeff Westerwelle was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dennis Riehm hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The Elberfelder FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Elberfelder FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
