The FC tenstraw fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 14 minutes of play, FC tenstraw's Siegmund Stumm made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Michael Elbert was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 23rdth minute of the game Hermann Kerth who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BVB's Michael Elbert was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cosimo Brenner stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hermann Kerth let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 57th minute shot 2-3 at rihgt post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Philipp Hülsmeyer in the 64th minute of play forced BVB's goalkeeper Michael Elbert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC tenstraw's Lukas Kang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosimo Brenner in the 67th minute of play. Florian Kunce kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Cosimo Brenner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 77th minute Cosimo Brenner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lukas Kang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Siegmund Stumm could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Michael Elbert made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Cosimo Brenner put it in 3-4 from a short distance just to the right of Lukas Kang. If Cosimo Brenner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. BVB's Cosimo Brenner got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Patrick Oliver Stapel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 93rd minute Cosimo Brenner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lukas Kang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mehmet Ali Schaffert struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Lukas Kang didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BVB. The FC tenstraw supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC tenstraw would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
