The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Groß Schulenburger Polder FSV's Markus Mantel got a free kick in the 40th minute. Bartholomäus Brink recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Bartholomäus Brink managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eintracht Frankfurt's supporters rose to their feet, but Bartholomäus Brink was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arbo Häfner breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Eintracht Frankfurt's Bartholomäus Brink, in the 47th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Eintracht Frankfurt. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Bartholomäus Brink made the kick off in the second half. Dennis Dirks received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Gideon Baltermanns tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raimar Schwindt got free with Arbo Häfner in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tino Elsner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Gideon Baltermanns tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manuel Gratzke hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Dennis Dirks blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gideon Baltermanns having to make a save. Eintracht Frankfurt's Gideon Baltermanns played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dennis Dirks in the 73rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bartholomäus Brink in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arbo Häfner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gideon Baltermanns showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dennis Dirks, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Raimar Schwindt could shoot a difficult shot in the 79th minute, which Arbo Häfner however easily saved by the left post. A collision led to Groß Schulenburger Polder FSV getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Markus Mantel hit a great ball. Gideon Baltermanns took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Dirks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bartholomäus Brink sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute, Raimar Schwindt fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Johannes-Paul Böckhaus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Arbo Häfner made a huge save. Arbo Häfner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raimar Schwindt in the 95th minute.
