Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cosimo Brenner took the kick off in the first half of the match. BVB's Michael Elbert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Liedy in the 4th minute of play. Lajos Bier hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. After 12 played minutes Groß Schulenburger Polder FSV got a freekick which was hit by Camillo Mezger. When Lajos Bier came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the BVB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lajos Bier couldn't finish the play. Arbo Häfner came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by BVB's Cosimo Brenner. But to his dismay, Cosimo Brenner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, BVB's Lajos Bier got a free kick in the 25th minute. Camillo Mezger came free with the goalkeeper in the 26th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Michael Elbert could save by the left post. With an all-out effort, Groß Schulenburger Polder FSV's Michael Elbert threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dennis Dirks, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Arbo Häfner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick Oliver Stapel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to BVB getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Lewin Rodekamp hit a great ball. Michael Elbert made an important save on a dangerous shot by Markus Mantel in the 34th minute. 1-2 became the score in the 37th minute when Tino Elsner elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Patrick Oliver Stapel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lajos Bier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute Dennis Dirks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Elbert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Dennis Dirks made the kick off in the second half. Dennis Dirks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58thth minute of the game Cosimo Brenner who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Groß Schulenburger Polder FSV's Arbo Häfner was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Michael Elbert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dennis Dirks in the 60th minute of the match. Lajos Bier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arbo Häfner having to interfere. The supporters of BVB booed when Groß Schulenburger Polder FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas Liedy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manfred Gose hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. When BVB's Cosimo Brenner in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Groß Schulenburger Polder FSV's goalie prevented a goal. In the 75th minute, Thomas Liedy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Groß Schulenburger Polder FSV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Cosimo Brenner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arbo Häfner having to interfere. In the 81st match minute, BVB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brian Eschlimann to maneuver through the defense. Cosimo Brenner might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arbo Häfner. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cosimo Brenner ran back to his position shaking his head. After 87 minutes of play, Groß Schulenburger Polder FSV's Manfred Gose made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Michael Elbert was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cosimo Brenner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Arbo Häfner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Mark Berlich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the match, BVB's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis Dirks came free, but Michael Elbert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lajos Bier charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lajos Bier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 94th minute, Lajos Bier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Groß Schulenburger Polder FSV were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of BVB for a fine match.
