Spectators: 6716 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cornelis Caspary started the match with the kick off. When Heino Svoboda fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Irmenach FSV's protests and gave Heino Svoboda a yellow card for diving instead. After 4 played minutes Irmenach FSV got a freekick which was hit by Heino Svoboda. Rudolf Reisinger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gretel Klebs having to interfere. Christian Strehl charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christian Strehl the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, TSV Scheibendorf's Christian Strehl got a free kick in the 8th minute. Josip Braner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th minute, Axel Seifert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ricky Kuckhoff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornelis Caspary in the 17th minute of play. Axel Seifert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Irmenach FSV's Robert Gielchen got a free kick in the 23rd minute. TSV Scheibendorf's Axel Seifert got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Robert Gielchen kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the game, TSV Scheibendorf's Axel Seifert nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricky Kuckhoff made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 44 minutes into the game, Henry Gerdsen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Irmenach FSV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TSV Scheibendorf the free kick. In the 44th minute, Henry Gerdsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Axel Seifert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Ricky Kuckhoff tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half TSV Scheibendorf were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Josip Braner to make the kick off. Ricky Kuckhoff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornelis Caspary, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Heino Svoboda kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. TSV Scheibendorf's Cornelis Caspary was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 66th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Eckart Mach kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Axel Seifert who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Ricky Kuckhoff when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Irmenach FSV's Ricky Kuckhoff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornelis Caspary in the 79th minute of play. Ricky Kuckhoff made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Axel Seifert sent off a good shot on target. Cornelis Caspary received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ricky Kuckhoff came out and tried to block the shot, but Cornelis Caspary slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 89th minute.
