With a couple of smart ball manuevers Philipp Hülsmeyer in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Walther Seitz saved FCИ from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hermann Kerth in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Walther Seitz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Siegmund Stumm in the 17th minute of play forced FCИ's goalkeeper Walther Seitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Harald Osterkamp hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After having played for 25 minutes, Siegmund Stumm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC tenstraw's supporters crossed their fingers, but Siegmund Stumm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Siegmund Stumm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walther Seitz having to interfere. Sepp Loos hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute FC tenstraw were awarded a corner. Raphael Lenhardt went to the cornerflag to take it. Walther Seitz came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by FC tenstraw's Hermann Kerth. But to his dismay, Hermann Kerth quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, FC tenstraw's Raphael Lenhardt got a free kick in the 37th minute. After 40 minutes, Kamil Schmotz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FCИ and the FC tenstraw players grew even worse after the yellow card. Raphael Lenhardt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the match, FCИ's goal looked a bit too open when Raphael Lenhardt came free, but Walther Seitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Siegmund Stumm came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the FC tenstraw fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Siegmund Stumm couldn't finish the play. Lukas Kang made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Jürgen Ripoll sent off a good shot on target. After the first half FC tenstraw were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

FC tenstraw were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after FCИ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Raphael Lenhardt took the corner. Sepp Loos tried in the 53rd minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Walther Seitz a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in FCИ's zone, Siegmund Stumm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walther Seitz came out of the goal and Siegmund Stumm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Walther Seitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raphael Lenhardt in the 60th minute of play. Lukas Kang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ibrahim Noll, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Hermann Kerth was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 65th minute. FC tenstraw's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 66 minutes into the match, FCИ's goal looked a bit too open when Raphael Lenhardt came free, but Walther Seitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 71 minutes, Raphael Lenhardt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Walther Seitz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raphael Lenhardt in the 83rd minute. 84 minutes into the match, FC tenstraw's goal looked a bit too open when Jürgen Ripoll came free, but Lukas Kang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lukas Kang didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jürgen Ripoll went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. If Raphael Lenhardt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FCИ's Walther Seitz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save FCИ from getting a goal against them. With his leg Walther Seitz managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when FC tenstraw's Philipp Hülsmeyer fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. FC tenstraw's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
