Spectators: 6711 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1711, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Josip Braner made the kick off which started today's match. In the 6th minute Josip Braner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walther Seitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rudolf Reisinger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Walther Seitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Irmenach FSV's Ricky Kuckhoff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brix Insel in the 11th minute of play. Rudolf Reisinger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Walther Seitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21stth minute of the game Josip Braner who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FCИ's Walther Seitz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rudolf Reisinger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walther Seitz having to interfere. Walther Seitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josip Braner in the 40th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in FCИ's zone, Josip Braner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walther Seitz came out of the goal and Josip Braner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ibrahim Noll stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Josip Braner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ibrahim Noll struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Ricky Kuckhoff didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FCИ. Ingo Korff's late challenge caught a Irmenach FSV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ingo Korff helped the player get up and apologised. Ingo Korff hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the game, Irmenach FSV's Rudolf Reisinger nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Walther Seitz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Irmenach FSV's Ricky Kuckhoff proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Irmenach FSV from getting a goal against them. Walther Seitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rudolf Reisinger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricky Kuckhoff came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by FCИ's Jürgen Ripoll. But to his dismay, Jürgen Ripoll quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. With a little luck, Irmenach FSV's Ricky Kuckhoff got control of the ball when Jürgen Ripoll tried to sneak it across the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, FCИ's Ibrahim Noll sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ricky Kuckhoff narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Jürgen Ripoll managed to get in a good position for a shot. FCИ's supporters rose to their feet, but Jürgen Ripoll was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricky Kuckhoff breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ricky Kuckhoff was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ibrahim Noll showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 95 minute of play. The FCИ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FCИ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
