Achaz Vieweg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marko Descharmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gero Hörnle having to interfere. In the 18th match minute, Renneperstraße was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdelaziz Bankmann to maneuver through the defense. Gero Hörnle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marko Descharmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romed Canel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Achaz Vieweg having to make a save. Aachener FC's Gero Hörnle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Aachener FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Aachener FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Herbert Guggemoos hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benny Baus got free with Gero Hörnle in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Renneperstraße's Benny Baus got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Marko Descharmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Oliver Ünlü managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aachener FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Oliver Ünlü was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Achaz Vieweg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romed Canel in the 39th minute of play forced Renneperstraße's goalkeeper Achaz Vieweg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute Oliver Ünlü shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Achaz Vieweg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romed Canel struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Achaz Vieweg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aachener FC. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

After having played for 55 minutes, Oliver Ünlü managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aachener FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oliver Ünlü was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 56 played minutes Renneperstraße got a freekick which was hit by August Barth. Achaz Vieweg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romed Canel, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Romed Canel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Achaz Vieweg having to interfere. After 62 minutes, Romed Canel made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Renneperstraße's Achaz Vieweg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Marko Descharmes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gero Hörnle read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Aachener FC's Romed Canel got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 78 minutes into the match, Renneperstraße's goal looked a bit too open when Romed Canel came free, but Achaz Vieweg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oliver Ünlü could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Achaz Vieweg made a huge save. Achaz Vieweg made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Oliver Ünlü sent off a good shot on target. 88 minutes into the match, Renneperstraße's goal looked a bit too open when Romed Canel came free, but Achaz Vieweg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oliver Ünlü received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Achaz Vieweg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Achaz Vieweg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romed Canel in the 94th minute of play. If Oliver Ünlü had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Aachener FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
