The audience thought a goal was coming when Martin Abascal got free with Baldur Hiemann in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 14 minutes into the match, Schachthalden's goal looked a bit too open when Berthold Geske came free, but Baldur Hiemann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of 1FC Gamingking booed when Schachthalden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oleg Kläser didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute Berthold Geske shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldur Hiemann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baldur Hiemann made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Martin Abascal sent off a good shot on target. Baldur Hiemann stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martin Abascal's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Abascal in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baldur Hiemann saved Schachthalden from getting behind. Baldur Hiemann made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Martin Abascal sent off a good shot on target. After 31 played minutes Berthold Geske rounded Schachthalden's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. A hard shot 40 in the game by Martin Abascal from a close distance when the talented Baldur Hiemann managed to make a qualified save. Schachthalden's players were relieved. Benedikt Stirböck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Baldur Hiemann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Schachthalden's goalkeeper Baldur Hiemann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martin Abascal. 48 minutes into the match, Martin Abascal notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Schachthalden's Baldur Hiemann. Baldur Hiemann was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nils Steininger was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Martin Abascal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Baldur Hiemann. Schachthalden's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martin Abascal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After 62 played minutes Schachthalden got a freekick which was hit by Achim Sprodowski. A collision led to Schachthalden getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Siegfried Hildebrandt hit a great ball. After 67 minutes of play, 1FC Gamingking's Martin Abascal made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baldur Hiemann was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 72nd minute, Martin Abascal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baldur Hiemann was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Baldur Hiemann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Abascal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Oleg Kläser fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Schachthalden's protests and gave Oleg Kläser a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Schachthalden getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Oleg Kläser hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martin Abascal in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baldur Hiemann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Abascal in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baldur Hiemann saved Schachthalden from getting behind. Baldur Hiemann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berthold Geske, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Benedikt Stirböck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Abascal in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baldur Hiemann saved Schachthalden from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berthold Geske in the 93rd minute of play forced Schachthalden's goalkeeper Baldur Hiemann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tim Pfützner charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tim Pfützner the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Schachthalden getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Tim Pfützner hit a great ball. Martin Abascal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Baldur Hiemann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Abascal in the 99th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. 1FC Gamingking had played much better football throughout.
