Robert Neidlein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronald Plum in the 3rd minute of the match. Heilbronn's Walt Peleikis suffered a concussion in the 5th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Erik Stockhaus charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erik Stockhaus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee gave Heilbronn a penalty, 7 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Josip Scholtz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of C.F. Seleção Rapsöl's Thierry Kursawe. 1-0. If Björn Zöllmer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute, Björn Zöllmer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Heilbronn fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Thilo Emden recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Robert Neidlein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torsten Bothner in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Heilbronn's goalkeeper Robert Neidlein, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 38th minute Ronald Plum shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Neidlein saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thierry Kursawe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Björn Zöllmer went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Björn Zöllmer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thierry Kursawe having to interfere. When C.F. Seleção Rapsöl's Torsten Bothner in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Heilbronn's goalie prevented a goal. Heilbronn's Harald Neumann got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in C.F. Seleção Rapsöl's zone, Björn Zöllmer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thierry Kursawe came out of the goal and Björn Zöllmer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ronald Plum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Björn Zöllmer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Heilbronn's Robert Neidlein proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Heilbronn from getting a goal against them. 81 minutes into the match, C.F. Seleção Rapsöl's goal looked a bit too open when Björn Zöllmer came free, but Thierry Kursawe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in C.F. Seleção Rapsöl's zone, Björn Zöllmer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thierry Kursawe came out of the goal and Björn Zöllmer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Ralph Metzger came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Heilbronn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ralph Metzger couldn't finish the play. Björn Zöllmer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thilo Emden in the 89th minute of play forced C.F. Seleção Rapsöl's goalkeeper Thierry Kursawe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th match minute, C.F. Seleção Rapsöl was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedikt Schlott to maneuver through the defense. Thierry Kursawe came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Heilbronn's Harald Neumann. But to his dismay, Harald Neumann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Heilbronn walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
