Gruberhagen's Fortunato Seer was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 12th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 15 played minutes Gruberhagen got a freekick which was hit by Albrecht Kress. Gero Hörnle made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Bartolomeo Tietz sent off a good shot on target. Bartolomeo Tietz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26thth minute of the game Fortunato Seer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aachener FC's Gero Hörnle was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 30th minute, Tilmann Herzke made a precise shot to the right of Gero Hörnle. Aachener FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The supporters of Gruberhagen booed when Aachener FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcel Bayer didn't get a good kick on the ball. 53 minutes into the match, Aachener FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fortunato Seer came free, but Gero Hörnle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute of the match Gruberhagen got a corner. Aachener FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fortunato Seer ran over to the corner to take the kick. Piero Slave kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. A collision led to Aachener FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Hermann Boehme hit a great ball. When Gruberhagen's Tilmann Herzke in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Tihomir Benada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the game, Gruberhagen's Bartolomeo Tietz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gero Hörnle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Gero Hörnle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tilmann Herzke in the 81st minute of play. Romed Canel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gero Hörnle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tilmann Herzke, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tilmann Herzke in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gero Hörnle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gero Hörnle stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fortunato Seer's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Tilmann Herzke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Gruberhagen were the better team. Gruberhagen's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
