Spectators: 5200 (Terracing: 4100, Seating: 1100, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in FC Appeldorf's zone, Walt Peleikis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nino Kozole came out of the goal and Walt Peleikis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 7th match minute, FC Appeldorf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lukas Dörnte to maneuver through the defense. Björn Zöllmer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Nino Kozole tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Heilbronn's Walt Peleikis got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lars Reif sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Max Bamberger hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Tim Toupheksis charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tim Toupheksis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The long shot by Josip Scholtz in the 27th minute really tested Nino Kozole's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. FC Appeldorf's Nino Kozole played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harald Neumann in the 29th minute of play. Robert Neidlein came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Appeldorf's Jakob Caesar. But to his dismay, Jakob Caesar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 44 minutes into the match, Heilbronn's goal looked a bit too open when Einar Seisler came free, but Robert Neidlein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Walt Peleikis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Nino Kozole tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC Appeldorf's Tim Toupheksis got a free kick in the 48th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Heilbronn's Josip Scholtz tried to score from far away in the 49th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Walt Peleikis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Heilbronn were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after FC Appeldorf's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Josip Scholtz took the corner. Josip Scholtz made a great header on Heilbronn's corner, it was just that FC Appeldorf's Nino Kozole managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Heilbronn's goalkeeper Robert Neidlein, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Lars Reif came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the FC Appeldorf fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lars Reif couldn't finish the play. Nino Kozole showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walt Peleikis, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Appeldorf's goalkeeper Nino Kozole, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jakob Caesar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Neidlein having to interfere. In the 93rd minute Björn Zöllmer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nino Kozole saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jakob Caesar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Robert Neidlein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Harald Neumann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The FC Appeldorf players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
