Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oliver Ünlü in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thierry Kursawe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in C.F. Seleção Rapsöl's zone, Romed Canel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thierry Kursawe came out of the goal and Romed Canel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 12th minute, Romed Canel fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 12 played minutes C.F. Seleção Rapsöl got a freekick which was hit by Pawel Trabold. In the 18th match minute, C.F. Seleção Rapsöl was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedikt Schlott to maneuver through the defense. Oliver Ünlü's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Thierry Kursawe skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, C.F. Seleção Rapsöl's Pawel Trabold got a free kick in the 20th minute. After 22 played minutes C.F. Seleção Rapsöl got a freekick which was hit by Pawel Trabold. Seleção Rapsöl's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcel Bayer helped the player get up and apologised. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Gero Hörnle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ronald Plum might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gero Hörnle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ronald Plum ran back to his position shaking his head. Hinnerk Jakob hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Romed Canel to make the kick off. Oliver Ünlü charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oliver Ünlü the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 53rd minute, Oliver Ünlü hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thierry Kursawe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Ronald Plum could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Gero Hörnle made a huge save. Thierry Kursawe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Ünlü, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romed Canel in the 91st minute of play forced C.F. Seleção Rapsöl's goalkeeper Thierry Kursawe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92ndth minute of the game Oliver Ünlü who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.F. Seleção Rapsöl's Thierry Kursawe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
