Spectators: 7352 (Terracing: 5619, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 10) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jostein Kleber started the match with the kick off. Florian Biehle acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 5th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Pascal Kiesel. Florian Biehle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ronald Plum in the 9th minute. Florian Biehle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torsten Bothner in the 11th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, C.F. Seleção Rapsöl's Ronald Plum sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Florian Biehle narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Ture Burke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Torsten Bothner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Florian Biehle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 26th minute by Ronald Plum got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 39 minutes into the match, C.F. Seleção Rapsöl's goal looked a bit too open when Oliver Siberichs came free, but Thierry Kursawe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, La Lakers's Rik Bartels seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Rik Bartels the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of La Lakers protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Rik Bartels had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to La Lakers getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Rik Bartels hit a great ball. Walter Kapelle was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 44th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.

The wind increased when Torsten Bothner made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, C.F. Seleção Rapsöl's Torsten Bothner got a free kick in the 51st minute. C.F. Seleção Rapsöl's Thierry Kursawe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jostein Kleber in the 58th minute of play. Ronald Plum recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to La Lakers getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Torsten Schöning hit a great ball. Thierry Kursawe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jostein Kleber's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. A collision led to C.F. Seleção Rapsöl getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Erik Stockhaus hit a great ball. La Lakers's Florian Biehle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronald Plum in the 82nd minute of play. La Lakers's Jostein Kleber got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Despite being the better team, C.F. Seleção Rapsöl failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
