Achaz Vieweg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viktor Bülow in the 12th minute of play. Nieukerker Bruch's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Walter Klütz in the 19th minute. Walter Klütz made a great header on Nieukerker Bruch's corner, it was just that Renneperstraße's Achaz Vieweg managed to reach the ball for a save. Achaz Vieweg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Wischnowsky, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Benny Baus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Frederik Wichtel having to make a save. After 31 played minutes Nieukerker Bruch got a freekick which was hit by Olav Winkels. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marko Descharmes in the 34th minute of play forced Nieukerker Bruch's goalkeeper Frederik Wichtel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Nieukerker Bruch's goalkeeper Frederik Wichtel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benny Baus. André Wischnowsky received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Achaz Vieweg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute Viktor Bülow shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Achaz Vieweg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marko Descharmes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Benny Baus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. André Wischnowsky who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Achaz Vieweg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 77 minutes into the game, Viktor Bülow recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Achaz Vieweg. Viktor Bülow showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Renneperstraße's zone, André Wischnowsky stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Achaz Vieweg came out of the goal and André Wischnowsky tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rudi Steinberg hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Marko Descharmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frederik Wichtel having to interfere. The Nieukerker Bruch supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Nieukerker Bruch would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
