Tilmann Schlender made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victor Dürr in the 30th minute. If Victor Dürr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. In the 49th minute Hartwig Biermann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clint Weichelt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hugo Stadelmann to make the kick off. In a very dangerous position, a player in TSV18sechzig fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! Björn Schnelle walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. With a little luck, TSV18sechzig's Clint Weichelt got control of the ball when Hartwig Biermann tried to sneak it across the goal line.
