In the 15th match minute, ssv bergneustadt 08 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximilian Höger to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute, Gottlieb Güven made a precise shot to the right of Frieder Gerbrich. Saaebrückensport's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Gottlieb Güven received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Frieder Gerbrich tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Yavuz Mehnert made a precise shot to the right of Tilmann Schlender. ssv bergneustadt 08's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Tilmann Schlender took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yavuz Mehnert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Saaebrückensport's Marius Wohlrabe fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Saaebrückensport's zone, Gottlieb Güven stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frieder Gerbrich came out of the goal and Gottlieb Güven tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marius Wohlrabe in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tilmann Schlender prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gottlieb Güven sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Yavuz Mehnert spun around in front of the goal 42 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of ssv bergneustadt 08's goal. Tilmann Schlender took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yavuz Mehnert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marius Wohlrabe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Saaebrückensport's zone, Hartwig Biermann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frieder Gerbrich came out of the goal and Hartwig Biermann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frieder Gerbrich didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gottlieb Güven went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 63rd minute, Lasse Eckart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hartwig Biermann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 67 minutes into the match, ssv bergneustadt 08's goalkeeper Tilmann Schlender had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yavuz Mehnert. 67 minutes into the game, Yavuz Mehnert recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tilmann Schlender. Yavuz Mehnert showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Frieder Gerbrich took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gottlieb Güven, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hartwig Biermann took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frieder Gerbrich. Frieder Gerbrich dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. 76 minutes into the match, Saaebrückensport's goal looked a bit too open when Gottlieb Güven came free, but Frieder Gerbrich reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lasse Eckart hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 78 minutes into the game, ssv bergneustadt 08's Gottlieb Güven nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Frieder Gerbrich made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. If Gottlieb Güven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yavuz Mehnert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tilmann Schlender having to interfere. Marius Wohlrabe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, ssv bergneustadt 08's Tilmann Schlender got control of the ball when Yavuz Mehnert tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marius Wohlrabe spun around in front of the goal 94 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of ssv bergneustadt 08's goal. If Yavuz Mehnert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
