Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Niklas Thiel in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clint Weichelt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Niklas Thiel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Clint Weichelt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clint Weichelt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uno Börnert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th match minute, TSV18sechzig was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hartwig Nouripour to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 24 minutes, Victor Dürr managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TSV18sechzig's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victor Dürr was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rd minute, Niklas Thiel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd match minute, Wichlinghauserhöfe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peppo Szolkowy to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 44 minutes, Victor Dürr managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TSV18sechzig's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victor Dürr was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hugo Stadelmann stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Hugo Stadelmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in TSV18sechzig's zone, Niklas Thiel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clint Weichelt came out of the goal and Niklas Thiel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Niklas Thiel got free with Clint Weichelt in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benjamin Ipek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Dürr, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. TSV18sechzig's Clint Weichelt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uno Börnert in the 87th minute of play. Uno Börnert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clint Weichelt having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 93rd minute of the game. One of TSV18sechzig:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Wichlinghauserhöfe:s goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Wichlinghauserhöfe's Simon Rabe slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Clint Weichelt. That made the score 0-2 after 95 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Wichlinghauserhöfe's zone, Hugo Stadelmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamin Ipek came out of the goal and Hugo Stadelmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wichlinghauserhöfe's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
