Fiete Klein hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Niklas Thiel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilja Sieg having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Heinz Fiedler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Ilja Sieg managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when Wichlinghauserhöfe's Niklas Thiel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Croatia United's zone, Uno Börnert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ilja Sieg came out of the goal and Uno Börnert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Niklas Thiel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilja Sieg having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Heinz Fiedler made a kick off. Ilja Sieg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Uno Börnert's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Niklas Thiel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Ilja Sieg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Uno Börnert notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Croatia United's Ilja Sieg. Ilja Sieg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Croatia United's Ilja Sieg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uno Börnert in the 63rd minute of play. Heinz Fiedler kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Niklas Thiel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Joseph Kleiner scored 2-0 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ilja Sieg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There was no doubt that Wichlinghauserhöfe were the better team. Wichlinghauserhöfe's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
