With a little luck, ssv bergneustadt 08's Tilmann Schlender got control of the ball when Daniel Höcketstaller tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wilhelm Rehbach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hartwig Biermann in the 22nd minute of the match. After 46 minutes, Boris Grentz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ssv bergneustadt 08 and the Langenbaum players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Langenbaum booed when ssv bergneustadt 08 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boris Grentz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After 53 minutes of play, Langenbaum's Owen Witlatschil made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tilmann Schlender was left in no man's land by his defense there! The goalkeeper, Wilhelm Rehbach, was totally fooled by ssv bergneustadt 08's Björn Schnelle, who 59 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Langenbaum's Wilhelm Rehbach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gottlieb Güven in the 63rd minute of play. When Daniel Höcketstaller came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Langenbaum fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Höcketstaller couldn't finish the play. Hartwig Biermann who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Wilhelm Rehbach when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Wilhelm Rehbach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gottlieb Güven, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hartwig Biermann got free with Wilhelm Rehbach in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hartwig Biermann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Wilhelm Rehbach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hartwig Biermann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Höcketstaller in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tilmann Schlender saved ssv bergneustadt 08 from getting behind. After 91 minutes, Owen Witlatschil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Langenbaum and the ssv bergneustadt 08 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 91st minute, Owen Witlatschil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kasimir Hallmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tilmann Schlender having to interfere. Tilmann Schlender made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Höcketstaller in the 96th minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
