If Ahmet Lingnau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bartholomäus Grüning showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ansgar Thieringer in the 12th minute of the match. After 13 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Dörenhagen FSV! Wolfgang Reich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Benny Klöckner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Lingnau in the 20th minute of play forced Ramsen FSV's goalkeeper Benny Klöckner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 22 in the game by Dustin Bopp from a close distance when the talented Bartholomäus Grüning managed to make a qualified save. Dörenhagen FSV's players were relieved. Bartholomäus Grüning showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ansgar Thieringer in the 23rd minute of the match. Benny Klöckner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wolfgang Reich in the 37th minute of the match. Benny Klöckner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wolfgang Reich in the 40th minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Ramsen FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Wolfgang Reich came free, but Benny Klöckner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wolfgang Reich scored 1-1 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benny Klöckner, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ansgar Thieringer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Dörenhagen FSV's Benny Klöckner threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Wolfgang Reich, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Adam Hunger fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ramsen FSV's protests and gave Adam Hunger a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpected shot in the 53rd minute by Ahmet Lingnau got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Wolfgang Reich took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Benny Klöckner to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Ramsen FSV booed when Dörenhagen FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Körper didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adam Hunger kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Ahmet Lingnau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Benny Klöckner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wolfgang Reich in the 68th minute of play forced Ramsen FSV's goalkeeper Benny Klöckner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dörenhagen FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Lingnau was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benny Klöckner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmet Lingnau in the 73rd minute. In the 76th minute Wolfgang Reich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benny Klöckner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adam Hunger kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Ramsen FSV's Benny Klöckner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wolfgang Reich in the 81st minute of play. Werner Simbeck, 85 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Wolfgang Reich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Simon Körper's late challenge caught a Ramsen FSV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Simon Körper helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Dörenhagen FSV's Simon Körper got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Ahmet Lingnau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Benny Klöckner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dörenhagen FSV played a much better game than Ramsen FSV and deserved their victory. The Ramsen FSV players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
