Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Reiko Klein didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julius Lamowski went, in the 2nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Bernd Dambowsky showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heiner Boddenberg in the 8th minute of the match. Kai Boris Lapczinski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Bernd Dambowsky tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Heiner Boddenberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rudolf Vieth in the 19th minute of play forced Lichtenborn's goalkeeper Reiko Klein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Vielank booed when Lichtenborn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manfred Fuchtel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 31 played minutes Lichtenborn got a freekick which was hit by Kai Boris Lapczinski. Lichtenborn's Reiko Klein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julius Lamowski in the 43rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Laurence Nelius got free with Bernd Dambowsky in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Heiner Boddenberg struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Bernd Dambowsky didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lichtenborn.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Heiner Boddenberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julius Lamowski in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reiko Klein saved Lichtenborn from getting behind. Reiko Klein made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Clemens Klause sent off a good shot on target. Reiko Klein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julius Lamowski in the 59th minute of play. In the 63rdth minute of the game Julius Lamowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lichtenborn's Reiko Klein was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kai Boris Lapczinski kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Laurence Nelius ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernd Dambowsky was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 69th match minute, Vielank was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnulf Winter to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute Heiner Boddenberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernd Dambowsky saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernd Dambowsky showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heiner Boddenberg in the 72nd minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Vielank's goal looked a bit too open when Kai Boris Lapczinski came free, but Bernd Dambowsky reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 83 minutes, Clemens Klause mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vielank and the Lichtenborn players grew even worse after the yellow card. Clemens Klause hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute of the game Ibrahim Volkmer made a throw-in which Thoralf Berens played forward. In the 90th minute, Lichtenborn's Jochen Janing seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jochen Janing the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Lichtenborn protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jochen Janing had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 89th minute, one of Lichtenborn:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lichtenborn. Julius Lamowski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Reiko Klein came out and tried to block the shot, but Julius Lamowski slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 95th minute. The Lichtenborn supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Vielank's performance. The match ended with a win for Vielank.
