In the 19th minute Cicero Ertl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khalid Marsching saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Antoine Reisinger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cicero Ertl might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Khalid Marsching. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cicero Ertl ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antoine Reisinger in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Khalid Marsching saved FC Lenzen from getting behind. After 35 played minutes, FC Lenzen's Eduard Halfpap shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Niko Fekecs came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Lenzen reached it. 36 minutes into the match, Vehrensande's Cicero Ertl sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Khalid Marsching narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Khalid Marsching showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antoine Reisinger, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Ulrik Greth's late challenge caught a Vehrensande's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulrik Greth helped the player get up and apologised. Cicero Ertl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vehrensande's Antoine Reisinger got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Cicero Ertl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gregor Schnelle hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Henrico Melcher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ryan Obermeier fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vehrensande's protests and gave Ryan Obermeier a yellow card for diving instead. The audience was convinced that Antoine Reisinger's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Khalid Marsching was relentless in the 74th minute of the game.
