Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Julius Lamowski started the match with the kick off. Bernd Dambowsky came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by FC HEP's José Cezanne. But to his dismay, José Cezanne quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Cezanne in the 11th minute of play forced Vielank's goalkeeper Bernd Dambowsky to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute José Cezanne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernd Dambowsky saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute Julius Lamowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amerigo Hilligloh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Göran Stockhaus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernd Dambowsky having to interfere. After 18 minutes, Göran Stockhaus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC HEP and the Vielank players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to FC HEP getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Göran Stockhaus hit a great ball. Amerigo Hilligloh stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julius Lamowski's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. If Julius Lamowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute, Göran Stockhaus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amerigo Hilligloh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julius Lamowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Vielank booed when FC HEP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danko Niederhellmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Wilfried Langensiepen managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC HEP's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilfried Langensiepen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernd Dambowsky breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amerigo Hilligloh didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julius Lamowski went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Amerigo Hilligloh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julius Lamowski in the 48th minute of the match. The Vielank players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC HEP were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wilfried Langensiepen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vielank's Bernd Dambowsky proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Vielank from getting a goal against them. The supporters of FC HEP booed when Vielank was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tibor Rubner didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Ehinger in the 54th minute of play forced Vielank's goalkeeper Bernd Dambowsky to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute, Wilfried Langensiepen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernd Dambowsky was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. When Julius Lamowski came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Vielank fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julius Lamowski couldn't finish the play. The attack was good, but when Julius Lamowski in the 64th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. If Rudolf Vieth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amerigo Hilligloh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julius Lamowski in the 72nd minute of play. After 73 played minutes Vielank got a freekick which was hit by Ibrahim Volkmer. The audience was convinced that Julius Lamowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amerigo Hilligloh was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Vielank's zone, José Cezanne stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernd Dambowsky came out of the goal and José Cezanne tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vielank's Rudolf Vieth got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julius Lamowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amerigo Hilligloh stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julius Lamowski's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. José Cezanne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Bernd Dambowsky tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julius Lamowski in the 96th minute of play forced FC HEP's goalkeeper Amerigo Hilligloh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle went the supporters of FC HEP were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Vielank side.
