Khalid Marsching showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Basten in the 10th minute of the match. Khalid Marsching took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Basten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Jörg Wessendorf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, FC Lenzen's Kilian Bilger got a free kick in the 15th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Jörg Wessendorf managed to get in a good position for a shot. Suttrop FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jörg Wessendorf was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Khalid Marsching breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 20 minutes into the match, Suttrop FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Bieniok came free, but Witold Anton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jörg Wessendorf recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Henrico Melcher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Witold Anton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Alessandro Bresack had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of FC Lenzen booed when Suttrop FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steffen Kilz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jörg Wessendorf to make the kick off. When Rolf Suek fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Lenzen's protests and gave Rolf Suek a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st minute, FC Lenzen's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Emanuel Basten fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Khalid Marsching didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Suttrop FC. Khalid Marsching came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Suttrop FC's Emanuel Basten. But to his dismay, Emanuel Basten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Suttrop FC played a much better game than FC Lenzen and deserved their victory. The FC Lenzen players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
