Match Report

Vielank
Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0)
Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ingmar Köbler started the match with the kick off. Bernd Dambowsky showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sydney Büttgenbach, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Einar Nellessen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clemens Klause in the 8th minute. After 12 played minutes Julius Lamowski could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 1-0 into the left cross. Bastiaan Meis hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Leidenhausen's Einar Nellessen got control of the ball when Julius Lamowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tibor Rubner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Einar Nellessen having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Hanno Schleimer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Einar Nellessen made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Tibor Rubner sent off a good shot on target. Einar Nellessen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julius Lamowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Dimo Stupp fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leidenhausen's protests and gave Dimo Stupp a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dimo Stupp in the 36th minute of play forced Vielank's goalkeeper Bernd Dambowsky to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Julius Lamowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Einar Nellessen was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. If Rudolf Vieth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Julius Lamowski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Einar Nellessen having to make a save. Einar Nellessen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marko Krinke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the match, Leidenhausen's goal looked a bit too open when Julius Lamowski came free, but Einar Nellessen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingmar Köbler in the 45th minute of play forced Vielank's goalkeeper Bernd Dambowsky to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Julius Lamowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julius Lamowski to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sydney Büttgenbach during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Leidenhausen getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Sydney Büttgenbach hit a great ball. Einar Nellessen came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Vielank's Julius Lamowski. But to his dismay, Julius Lamowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julius Lamowski in the 61st minute of play forced Leidenhausen's goalkeeper Einar Nellessen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julius Lamowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Einar Nellessen having to interfere. After 68 minutes of play, Vielank's Julius Lamowski made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Einar Nellessen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bernd Dambowsky was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dimo Stupp showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 77 minute of play. Einar Nellessen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julius Lamowski's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. In the 87th minute, Ingmar Köbler reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bernd Dambowsky. The goal made the score 3-2. Vielank's Bernd Dambowsky proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Vielank from getting a goal against them. Bastiaan Meis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dimo Stupp kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match.
