After 45 played minutes FC Lenzen got a freekick which was hit by Henrico Melcher. Laurence Nelius took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Khalid Marsching. Khalid Marsching dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Heiner Boddenberg made the kick off in the second half. Khalid Marsching took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laurence Nelius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56thth minute of the game Heiner Boddenberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Lenzen's Khalid Marsching was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 59 minutes into the match, FC Lenzen's goal looked a bit too open when Heiner Boddenberg came free, but Khalid Marsching reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the FC Lenzen defense, Heiner Boddenberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Khalid Marsching. The FC Lenzen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Khalid Marsching should have stopped the shot. After 69 minutes of play, Lichtenborn's Heiner Boddenberg made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Khalid Marsching was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC Lenzen's Khalid Marsching played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heiner Boddenberg in the 77th minute of play. Kai Boris Lapczinski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Khalid Marsching having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heiner Boddenberg in the 80th minute of play forced FC Lenzen's goalkeeper Khalid Marsching to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Khalid Marsching showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heiner Boddenberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After some careless play in the FC Lenzen defense, Laurence Nelius kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Khalid Marsching. Laurence Nelius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Khalid Marsching tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lichtenborn walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
