Emanuel Basten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amerigo Hilligloh having to interfere. Emanuel Basten's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Amerigo Hilligloh firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Jörg Wessendorf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Emanuel Basten came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Suttrop FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Basten couldn't finish the play. After 21 played minutes FC HEP got a freekick which was hit by Danko Niederhellmann. The supporters of FC HEP booed when Suttrop FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alessandro Bresack didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Emanuel Basten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Göran Stockhaus during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Amerigo Hilligloh made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emanuel Basten in the 31st minute. Emanuel Basten's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Basten in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amerigo Hilligloh saved FC HEP from getting behind. Suttrop FC's Witold Anton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Suttrop FC from getting a goal against them. Amerigo Hilligloh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jörg Wessendorf in the 60th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Wilfried Langensiepen managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC HEP's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilfried Langensiepen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Witold Anton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. José Cezanne's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 71stth minute, Witold Anton skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 72nd minute Emanuel Basten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amerigo Hilligloh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 73 minutes of play FC HEP's Göran Stockhaus was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Göran Stockhaus kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. If Emanuel Basten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Cezanne blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Witold Anton having to make a save. In the 79th match minute, FC HEP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven Edewecht to maneuver through the defense. After 82 minutes, Sascha Lintner mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Suttrop FC and the FC HEP players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 82nd minute, Sascha Lintner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Jonas Ehinger from long distance, 83 minutes into the match, got Witold Anton's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Danko Niederhellmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Witold Anton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José Cezanne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC HEP's Danko Niederhellmann got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
