After 34 minutes, Heiner Boddenberg made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Leidenhausen's Einar Nellessen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Laurence Nelius in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Einar Nellessen saved Leidenhausen from getting behind. 92 minutes into the match, Lichtenborn's goal looked a bit too open when Ingmar Köbler came free, but Reiko Klein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Laurence Nelius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Lichtenborn had played much better football throughout.
