Florian Spörer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Fabian Wolfsbach made a huge save. If Sascha Pförtner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabian Wolfsbach made an important save on a dangerous shot by Corvinus Hofmeier in the 14th minute. Fabian Wolfsbach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Detlef Stelze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andreas Jacobs hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Ergeten FC's Fabian Wolfsbach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Arnold in the 21st minute of play. The supporters of Dachsberg booed when Ergeten FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hanns Huber didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabian Wolfsbach made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Florian Spörer sent off a good shot on target. Fabian Wolfsbach was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Florian Spörer capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Florian Spörer really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Fabian Wolfsbach was a little too slow when Florian Spörer got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 2-0. After 37 played minutes Dachsberg got a freekick which was hit by Jan Arnold. Fabien Fritz hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Obbo Peukert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabian Wolfsbach made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florian Spörer in the 48th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sascha Pförtner stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Dachsberg's zone, Sascha Pförtner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robert Rigotti came out of the goal and Sascha Pförtner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sascha Pförtner got free with Robert Rigotti in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 61 minutes into the game, Corvinus Hofmeier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dachsberg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ergeten FC the free kick. In the 61st minute, Corvinus Hofmeier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 64 minutes into the match, Dachsberg's goal looked a bit too open when Sascha Pförtner came free, but Robert Rigotti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute Ergeten FC were awarded a corner. Lars Hertel went to the cornerflag to take it. Ergeten FC's Lars Hertel was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Robert Rigotti in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Corvinus Hofmeier got his second yellow card in the match during the 69th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 69th minute, Corvinus Hofmeier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Roger Rüeck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Ergeten FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Reinhold Zeitler hit a great ball. Ergeten FC's Sascha Pförtner got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erich Krummacher's late challenge caught a Ergeten FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erich Krummacher helped the player get up and apologised. Detlef Stelze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Fabian Wolfsbach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Dachsberg fully deserved thier win.
