Dachsberg
Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Timo Wohl started the match with the kick off. Gero Lehn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robert Rigotti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gero Lehn, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Robert Rigotti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timo Wohl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the game, Gero Lehn cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Robert Rigotti was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Dachsberg's Reinhard Kübler got a free kick in the 24th minute. It was beautiful to see FC Suhl's Timo Wohl in action when he in the 26th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 27th match minute, Dachsberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Corvinus Hofmeier to maneuver through the defense. Eugen Zachariassen came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Dachsberg's Obbo Peukert. But to his dismay, Obbo Peukert quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Eugen Zachariassen was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jan Arnold. Thanks to some nice moves Florian Spörer could shoot a difficult shot in the 34th minute, which Eugen Zachariassen however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of FC Suhl booed when Dachsberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Corvinus Hofmeier didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gero Lehn in the 38th minute of play forced Dachsberg's goalkeeper Robert Rigotti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robert Rigotti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timo Wohl, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. When Detlef Stelze fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dachsberg's protests and gave Detlef Stelze a yellow card for diving instead. In the 44th match minute, Dachsberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Detlef Stelze to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Detlef Stelze to make the kick off. Eugen Zachariassen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Detlef Stelze in the 51st minute of the match. Robert Rigotti was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gero Lehn showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 52 minute of play. A collision led to Dachsberg getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Detlef Stelze hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gero Lehn in the 63rd minute of play forced Dachsberg's goalkeeper Robert Rigotti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the match, FC Suhl's Timo Wohl sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Robert Rigotti narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Timo Wohl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Dachsberg getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Florian Spörer hit a great ball. Gero Lehn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Robert Rigotti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Timo Wohl sped through Dachsberg's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Robert Rigotti. FC Suhl made a substitution. Cristian Lluterio replaced Karl-Ove Sundberg. Gero Lehn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Rigotti having to interfere. Gero Lehn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Robert Rigotti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute Gero Lehn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Rigotti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gero Lehn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Suhl played a much better game than Dachsberg and deserved their victory. The Dachsberg players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
