With his leg Figen Gerick managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when Rüxbüll FC's Hubert Podlich fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Hubert Podlich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Figen Gerick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Rüxbüll FC booed when Trojaner was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Friedemann Seehofer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rüxbüll FC's Ulli Christinck shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 18th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Figen Gerick but with some difficulty. 20 minutes into the match, Trojaner's goal looked a bit too open when Thorben Schnell came free, but Figen Gerick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Klaas Bolle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eric Linsert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Klaas Bolle in the 26th minute of the match. Figen Gerick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thorben Schnell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Rüxbüll FC fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when Rüxbüll FC's Thorben Schnell looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thorben Schnell to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hubert Podlich in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Figen Gerick prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Figen Gerick showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thorben Schnell in the 54th minute of the match. In the 56thth minute of the game Thorben Schnell who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Trojaner's Figen Gerick was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 59th minute, Luc Stark hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Rüxbüll FC's Ulli Christinck tried to score from far away in the 60th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The supporters of Trojaner booed when Rüxbüll FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thorben Schnell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thorben Schnell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Figen Gerick having to interfere. In the 88thth minute of the game Amatus Struck who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Trojaner's Figen Gerick was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Trojaner's goal looked a bit too open when Thorben Schnell came free, but Figen Gerick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
