Sebastian Holzmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thorben Schnell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastian Holzmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hubert Podlich in the 33rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Heidrich Holzfuß got free with Eric Linsert in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sebastian Holzmann stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thorben Schnell's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. When Rüxbüll FC's Hubert Podlich in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kirchbauna's goalie prevented a goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Patrick Baum made a kick off. After 57 minutes of play, Kirchbauna's Patrick Baum made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eric Linsert was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Patrick Baum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 64th minute Heidrich Holzfuß shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Linsert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rüxbüll FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hubert Podlich was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 77th minute Thorben Schnell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Holzmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patrick Baum received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Eric Linsert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute Heidrich Holzfuß shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Linsert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hubert Podlich's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sebastian Holzmann read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Thorben Schnell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute.
