In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kaltau FSV's goalkeeper Ciriaco Cakmakli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 12thth minute of the game René Backes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Torpedo Spellen's Clemens Drüggelte was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Clemens Drüggelte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from René Backes in the 13th minute of play. The supporters of Torpedo Spellen booed when Kaltau FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. René Backes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 28 played minutes Kaltau FSV got a freekick which was hit by Roman Defeu. Ignaz Landgraf struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Ciriaco Cakmakli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Torpedo Spellen. Ignaz Landgraf's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ciriaco Cakmakli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. After 34 minutes of play, Kaltau FSV's Jonathan Buschkühl made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. After 51 played minutes, Kaltau FSV's Roman Defeu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Clemens Drüggelte came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kaltau FSV reached it. The Kaltau FSV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ciriaco Cakmakli should have stopped the shot. In the 95th play minute Emmerich Amann came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Clemens Drüggelte. 1-4. Kaltau FSV's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
