Spectators: 7511 (Terracing: 5634, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 150) Nüttel FC's Vlado Naud started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ahmed Kuschminder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vlado Naud, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ahmed Kuschminder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herbert Bruhn in the 7th minute of the match. After having played for 8 minutes, Edgar Faber managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. L.E. GrünWeiß's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgar Faber was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 11 minutes into the match, L.E. GrünWeiß's goal looked a bit too open when Herbert Bruhn came free, but Ahmed Kuschminder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgar Faber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosmo Venekamp having to interfere. In the 21stth minute of the game Edgar Faber who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nüttel FC's Cosmo Venekamp was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 22nd minute, Erik Möller hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vlado Naud recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of L.E. GrünWeiß booed when Nüttel FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frederik Hoffmeier didn't get a good kick on the ball. L.E. GrünWeiß's Erik Möller shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 33rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Cosmo Venekamp but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vlado Naud in the 34th minute of play forced L.E. GrünWeiß's goalkeeper Ahmed Kuschminder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vlado Naud's late challenge caught a L.E. GrünWeiß's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vlado Naud helped the player get up and apologised. Vlado Naud kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After 44 played minutes L.E. GrünWeiß got a freekick which was hit by Harald Mappus. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 53rd match minute, Nüttel FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frederik Hoffmeier to maneuver through the defense. Herbert Bruhn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Ahmed Kuschminder made a huge save. After a rather tough play, L.E. GrünWeiß's Amadeo Raeder got a free kick in the 56th minute. 57 minutes into the match, L.E. GrünWeiß's goalkeeper Ahmed Kuschminder had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Herbert Bruhn. Amadeo Raeder charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amadeo Raeder the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 62nd minute, Ken Düren sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and L.E. GrünWeiß's Ahmed Kuschminder didn't even have to move. In the 64th match minute, L.E. GrünWeiß was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeo Raeder to maneuver through the defense. Ahmed Kuschminder stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vlado Naud's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vlado Naud in the 68th minute of play forced L.E. GrünWeiß's goalkeeper Ahmed Kuschminder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tobias Dötsch kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 71stth minute of the game Vlado Naud who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but L.E. GrünWeiß's Ahmed Kuschminder was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, L.E. GrünWeiß's Rayk Ruck got a free kick in the 72nd minute. With a little luck, L.E. GrünWeiß's Ahmed Kuschminder got control of the ball when Herbert Bruhn tried to sneak it across the goal line. Frederik Hoffmeier was shown his second yellow card after 74 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Frederik Hoffmeier kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Nüttel FC's Vlado Naud got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute, Erik Möller sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Nüttel FC's Cosmo Venekamp didn't even have to move. After a defensive mix-up in Nüttel FC's zone, Wilfried Ambrosius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cosmo Venekamp came out of the goal and Wilfried Ambrosius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edgar Faber hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, L.E. GrünWeiß's Rayk Ruck got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute of the match Ken Düren shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ahmed Kuschminder showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Herbert Bruhn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the match, Nüttel FC's Herbert Bruhn sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ahmed Kuschminder narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wilfried Ambrosius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Herbert Bruhn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Despite being the better team, L.E. GrünWeiß failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
