Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) FC Unkraut's Lukas Huth started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Tomislav Pollan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cosmo Venekamp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maxim Maaßen in the 6th minute of play. In the 11thth minute of the game Lukas Huth who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nüttel FC's Cosmo Venekamp was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tomislav Pollan took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cosmo Venekamp. Cosmo Venekamp dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some careless play in the Nüttel FC defense, Tomislav Pollan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cosmo Venekamp. The Nüttel FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cosmo Venekamp should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Nüttel FC booed when FC Unkraut was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ayman Kemmerle didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd play minute Gideon Bremser came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rochus Tenberge. 1-2. Frederik Hoffmeier hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. With a little luck, FC Unkraut's Rochus Tenberge got control of the ball when Gideon Bremser tried to sneak it across the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Lukas Huth notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Nüttel FC's Cosmo Venekamp. Cosmo Venekamp was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Heinz Hamberger charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Heinz Hamberger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 32 played minutes Nüttel FC got a freekick which was hit by Heinz Hamberger. Lukas Huth struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Cosmo Venekamp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Unkraut. Bert Ehrgott received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Cosmo Venekamp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th match minute, Nüttel FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Kobe to maneuver through the defense. After 39 played minutes FC Unkraut got a freekick which was hit by Ayman Kemmerle. Rochus Tenberge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dieter Hecker in the 41st minute of the match. A collision led to Nüttel FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Frederik Hoffmeier hit a great ball. Maxim Maaßen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Cosmo Venekamp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cosmo Venekamp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bert Ehrgott, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dieter Hecker to strike the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 51 in the game by Tomislav Pollan from a close distance when the talented Cosmo Venekamp managed to make a qualified save. Nüttel FC's players were relieved. If Lukas Huth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 61st minute Lukas Huth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosmo Venekamp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Nüttel FC's zone, Maxim Maaßen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cosmo Venekamp came out of the goal and Maxim Maaßen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lukas Huth in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cosmo Venekamp saved Nüttel FC from getting behind. Rochus Tenberge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gideon Bremser, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Ayman Kemmerle lost his temper 68 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 67th minute of the game. One of FC Unkraut:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Nüttel FC:s goal. Ken Düren shot the penalty kick right outside the post. 72 minutes into the match, Benny Nieberg notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Nüttel FC's Cosmo Venekamp. Cosmo Venekamp was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bert Ehrgott hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Rochus Tenberge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dieter Hecker, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Rochus Tenberge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gideon Bremser in the 78th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Gideon Bremser notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of FC Unkraut's Rochus Tenberge. Rochus Tenberge was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 92 played minutes Nüttel FC got a freekick which was hit by Ken Düren. FC Unkraut's Rochus Tenberge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dieter Hecker in the 94th minute of play. When Ken Düren fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nüttel FC's protests and gave Ken Düren a yellow card for diving instead. The FC Unkraut players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
