Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ernst Russok made the kick off which started today's match. Ernst Russok kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Egon Ulrich dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nikolaos Philipp, 1-0. Wilhelm Schüßler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernst Russok, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 16 minutes, Sergio Kirchner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Hofmühle's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sergio Kirchner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 19th minute, Lothar Seybold left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Högl fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 26 minutes into the match, Högl's Egon Ulrich sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nikolaos Philipp narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frank Walz during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Högl's Frank Walz got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 34th minute, Egon Ulrich got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Egon Ulrich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of FC Hofmühle booed when Högl was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egon Ulrich didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Janusz Schwartz during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FC Hofmühle getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Janusz Schwartz hit a great ball. In the 47th minute of the match Özcan Mäncher shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wilhelm Schüßler showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Nikolaos Philipp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egon Ulrich in the 53rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Högl's Frank Walz got a free kick in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernst Russok in the 59th minute of play forced Högl's goalkeeper Wilhelm Schüßler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, Egon Ulrich made a precise shot to the right of Nikolaos Philipp. FC Hofmühle's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 64th minute Ernst Russok shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilhelm Schüßler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute, Sergio Kirchner left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Hofmühle fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Wilhelm Schüßler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Folker Fortuna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Hofmühle's Nikolaos Philipp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egon Ulrich in the 73rd minute of play. Lothar Seybold might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nikolaos Philipp. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lothar Seybold ran back to his position shaking his head. 77 minutes into the match, FC Hofmühle's goal looked a bit too open when Egon Ulrich came free, but Nikolaos Philipp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Egon Ulrich notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of FC Hofmühle's Nikolaos Philipp. Nikolaos Philipp was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Kirchner in the 89th minute of play forced Högl's goalkeeper Wilhelm Schüßler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 92 played minutes FC Hofmühle got a freekick which was hit by Folker Fortuna. Egon Ulrich recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Högl had played much better football throughout.
