Dariusz Neoral came out of the goal and Emmo Kringel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emmo Kringel in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dariusz Neoral saved sdfsdfd from getting behind. In the 10th minute, Emmo Kringel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dariusz Neoral stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wesley Stingl's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Johannes Plaaten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven Teufel having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Lothar Merten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emmo Kringel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emmo Kringel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Johannes Plaaten in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sven Teufel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. sdfsdfd's Johannes Plaaten was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 26th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Sven Teufel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wolf Kothe in the 29th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Johannes Plaaten dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sven Teufel, 2-0. After a rather tough play, ΑΕΚ Αthens FC's Janek Westrich got a free kick in the 37th minute. Johannes Plaaten hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Sven Teufel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Johannes Plaaten's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. In the 48th minute Johannes Plaaten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven Teufel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

In the 53rdth minute of the game Johannes Plaaten who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ΑΕΚ Αthens FC's Sven Teufel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The corner went over the outstretched arms of ΑΕΚ Αthens FC's goalie and right to Dave Berndt. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. ΑΕΚ Αthens FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 55th minute, Gary Petters got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Johannes Plaaten's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sven Teufel was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Johannes Plaaten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Sven Teufel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stefan Kuhnert in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. A collision led to sdfsdfd getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Johannes Plaaten hit a great ball. Sven Teufel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johannes Plaaten in the 92nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felipe Gelb during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 93rd minute, Felipe Gelb hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
