The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Velten Wegl in the 3rd minute of play forced Knüverdarp's goalkeeper Ivica Münzner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Frederik Gleissner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Velten Wegl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 12 played minutes Knüverdarp got a freekick which was hit by Cosmo Riemann. Velten Wegl scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivica Münzner, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Lauro Mahler came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Knüverdarp fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lauro Mahler couldn't finish the play. Velten Wegl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivica Münzner having to interfere. Ivica Münzner didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frederik Gleissner went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After having played for 33 minutes, Frederik Gleissner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olsbrücken FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frederik Gleissner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Knüverdarp fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ivica Münzner should have stopped the shot. 90 minutes into the match, Knüverdarp's goal looked a bit too open when Velten Wegl came free, but Ivica Münzner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Knüverdarp's goalkeeper Ivica Münzner, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
