The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jossip Krafzig in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fjodor Rahne prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Konrad Mächtel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Fjodor Rahne made a huge save. If Konrad Mächtel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29thth minute of the game Jossip Krafzig who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SG Torpedo Dresden's Fjodor Rahne was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Konrad Mächtels short, quick shot in the 31stth minute got Fjodor Rahne to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnold Lührmann in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franz Kamp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 41 minutes into the match, SG Torpedo Dresden's goal looked a bit too open when Jossip Krafzig came free, but Fjodor Rahne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Franz Kamp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Grammelspacher, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Konrad Mächtel struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Fjodor Rahne didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 1.FC ORDU. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jossip Krafzig was the one to do the kick off. Fjodor Rahne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jossip Krafzig in the 81st minute of the match. If Hasso Benischke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vasco Henke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind SG Torpedo Dresden's goalkeeper Fjodor Rahne, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SG Torpedo Dresden eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
