Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Lauro Mahler made the kick off which started today's match. After 6 minutes, Sören Hauser made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Knüverdarp's Ivica Münzner tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ferenc Schinner in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivica Münzner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sören Hauser in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivica Münzner saved Knüverdarp from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Knüverdarp's Roman Bache got a free kick in the 15th minute. Ferenc Schinner blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ivica Münzner having to make a save. 17 minutes into the game, Primus Stiller was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Knüverdarp's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dörenthe the free kick. 20 minutes into the match, Dörenthe's goalkeeper Erdal Köppen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roman Bache. With his leg Erdal Köppen managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Knüverdarp's Roman Bache fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 25th minute, Sören Hauser left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dörenthe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When Ferenc Schinner got free in front of the goal in the 29th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Ivica Münzner was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 32nd minute Ferenc Schinner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivica Münzner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivica Münzner didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sören Hauser went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Knüverdarp defense, Sören Hauser kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ivica Münzner. The Knüverdarp fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ivica Münzner should have stopped the shot.

The wind increased when Sören Hauser made the kick off in the second half. When Sören Hauser came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Dörenthe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sören Hauser couldn't finish the play. Sören Hauser sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th minute, Menno Tannenberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Ivica Münzner managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when Dörenthe's Ferenc Schinner fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Dörenthe's zone, Lauro Mahler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erdal Köppen came out of the goal and Lauro Mahler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Primus Stiller got his second yellow card in the match during the 63rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 64th minute, Primus Stiller hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Dörenthe's Sören Hauser slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ivica Münzner. That made the score 0-5 after 65 minutes of play. After some careless play in the Knüverdarp defense, Klaus Hochbaum kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ivica Münzner. The Knüverdarp fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ivica Münzner should have stopped the shot. Ivica Münzner stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sören Hauser's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Knüverdarp's goalkeeper Ivica Münzner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ferenc Schinner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sören Hauser in the 81st minute of play forced Knüverdarp's goalkeeper Ivica Münzner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivica Münzner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sören Hauser, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Ivica Münzner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ferenc Schinner in the 84th minute. When Ioannis Kamp fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dörenthe's protests and gave Ioannis Kamp a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Dörenthe's Eberhard Plasczyk got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Dörenthe's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
